HELP.
I actually want to write down all my insights, but right now, I think it has not totally sunk in yet that we'll be going back in two and a half months.
The anxiety is real, as I do want to be useful inside the laboratory in the best way that I can and to ease the burden of the RMTs working in the hospital, but I guess I'm not that confident in terms of laboratory work (honestly though, who is?). Plus, the fact that we interns-to-be will be divided into two cohorts randomly is not helping at all. Man, I just wanna stick with my friends *introvert intensifies!*
It was a really really long and draining orientation that started at 2:00 PM, as we all were shocked by the changes because of the new setting. Of course, it wouldn't be a typical internship - rotations and skill enhancements are now very very different as guidelines such as only eight (8) students will be inside the lab and one instructor will have to monitor twenty in the hospital laboratory. A lot of stuff was discussed which is followed by a very long and detailed open forum for the concerns of the students, why is why we were all drained. Good thing, though, because instead of having three quizzes the next day, it got reduced to one and all of our classes became asynchronous!
Guess I'll have to get Sinovac as soon as possible. I originally wanted AstraZeneca, but given the news lately, I'm leaning towards the former. I will probably write about this when I get my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Well, if you're reading this, I guess I wanna say stay tuned? 😂
